If you are using OpenCms 5.0 rc1 or rc2, create a "simple" module type
and check the options "Export classes/ folder" and "Export lib/ folder".
Copy your classes in the classes folder, the jars in the lib folder of
the new module, and publish the project. The classes should now be
exported to the "WEB-INF/classes/" and "WEB-INF/lib/" folders in your
webapp folder. Restart Tomcat after publishing.

Betreff: [opencms-dev] Delivering classes
i wrote some java classes for my system and now i want to make a
'module' from all my resources i need. Pictures, templates,.. are no
problem, but how can i deliver *.class or *.jar files without copying
them to WEB-INF/classes ?
When creating a new module, there is a folder called classes and lib but
when i copy my classes into this folder, they are not getting used from
what is the correct way to distribute a whole module without copying the
classes to the server?
